Priority Jet Administrative Staff
Chief Operating Officer
Steven Dunn is the Chief Operating Officer at Priority Jet and has more than a decade of experience in the aviation industry. Steven began his career at Priority Jet in March 2009. In March 2010, as Director of Sales and Marketing, Steven set out on a mission to increase charter sales and relationships with other businesses within the industry. By the end of March, Priority Jet’s sales had tripled. In April of 2011, he was promoted to General Manager. Along with his team, he turned Priority Jet into a thriving company setting forth a trend of growth even as the economy remained uncertain.
Prior to joining Priority Jet Steven was a Public Safety Professional south of Atlanta where his career spanned 13 years as a firefighter, EMT-I, law enforcement officer and airborne sensor operator. As an airborne sensor operator Steven operated airborne sensors, cameras, data management, and assisting the pilot while transitioning between job sites and assisted the mechanics in maintenance hangar as needed.
In December 2013, Steven relocated Priority Jet from Peachtree City, GA to Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK) where it continues to grow today. After overwhelming success and growth at the new location, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in January 2014. Today, Steven is Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives through his constructive and energetic style.
Steven is an instrument rated pilot and recently graduated from Clayton State University with a degree in Technology Management with a concentration in Aviation Administration.
VP of Business Development
Ryan Waguespack is the Vice President of Business Development at Priority Jet in Atlanta, Ga. Priority Jet offers private jet charter and management, as well as aircraft sales and maintenance. In this role, Ryan is expanding Priority's national exposure and client base with a focus in customer retention and satisfaction by collaborating with other operators and brokers to maintain the highest level of service.
Ryan attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham which is how he found his passion for the industry. After an Introduction to Aviation course in 2002, Ryan earned his private pilot's license and has been active in local aviation since. Interested in the education of pilots, Ryan helped start the flight school at the Birmingham International Airport.
As an active service member in his community, he partnered with Birmingham YMCA to create a career program for children. He recruited all types of professionals to come and speak to the youth about their fields. He also served on the board of directors for the Southern of Museum of Flight and was Vice President of the Birmingham Aero Club. In addition, Ryan created Aviation Education Day for Children's Harbor which is a program that brings sick children and their families to the airport to learn about aviation.
Director of Operations
Jason developed a love of aviation at an early age, both his dad and granddad were Private Pilots. He grew up at airports and was riding in airplanes before he could walk. By his mid-twenties, he had obtained his Commercial and Flight Instructor certificates and was well on his way to an aviation career that has spanned the past eighteen years.
Jason's aviation career has taken him from Air Ambulance, Passenger Charter, Worldwide Military Charter to Aviation Management. He is rated to fly six jets and has served as Director of Operations at two different charter operations.
Thomas has seventeen years of experience in the aviation industry and joined the Priority Jet team in 2016 as a line pilot, then accepted the position of becoming our Chief Pilot. He was a flight instructor and NATO Specialist on the LearJet 35, and provided on-demand flights for military training, air ambulance, and hazardous materials.
Director of Maintenance
Joe Raney has been involved in aviation since 1983, when he joined the United States Coast Guard where he became an aircraft mechanic. Joe has worked in the field for over 30 years and has experience working on a variety of aircraft ranging from military helicopters to regional jets. Joe’s business and mechanical background makes him a perfect fit as Priority Jet's Director of Maintenance.
